Take action!
Promote us at party conferences
Many of our supporters will be attending the 2011 party conferences, so we have written a party conference briefing to help you spread the word about our campaign to keep citizenship education in the National Curriculum.
Get an MP into your citizenship class!
November 2011 sees the UK’s first ever Parliament Week. It’s a great opportunity to bring your MP to school to talk with students and staff about the relationship between youth, politics and citizenship.
Invite them to a citizenship lesson, or even to teach one! Ask what they think of possibly losing citizenship from the National Curriculum and make sure they hear your views too.
The Hansard Society has a free pack to help you and you can use the form below to find your MP.
Tell your politicians
Politicians make decisions. Tell yours about this campaign and our petition, party conference briefing, Curriculum Review summary and evidence for citizenship education.
How?
